Art is an inclusive range of human actions involving physical creativity, visual imagination, emotional strength, aesthetic beauty, or emotional power to express personal concepts, beauty, creative skill, or intellectual knowledge. It has been a source of social enlightenment dating back to the earliest periods of recorded history, when people were drawn to natural phenomena for understanding their lives and emotions. It is also a major theme in modern contemporary art, where new horizons are continually opened up through new artistic forms, tools, and innovations. The dynamic and ever-changing nature of art, however, makes it difficult to define, so we will here some definitions and examples to clarify what we mean when we speak of this broad subject matter.
Visual arts: Are the visual representations of a given idea or concept. The most common examples of visual arts are painting, drawing, photography, and sculpture. These art forms can be categorized into two main fields: the visual arts of painting and sculpture, and the visual arts of the spoken word.
In paintings, a work of visual art generally tells a story, while a work of sculpture will usually stand alone as a physical object.
1. The field of printmaking includes the production of photographic works (including photographs, posters, booklets, and canvas paintings); glass arts; wood arts including jewelry making and wood carving; metal arts including sculpture and metalworking.
2. Photography, unlike other visual arts, does not exist in totality; rather it exists in various forms such as still-life photography, photojournalism, and photo essay.
3. Printmaking thus also includes art reproductions. Film, motion pictures, and computer animation are all part of the field of motion picture arts. Photography, on the other hand, is simply the recording of things around us in the real world with the use of film or digital cameras.
Types of Visual Arts: Art refers to the production of a completed work of visual or other kinds of material that exhibits a human aesthetic sense. It includes performance art, architecture, and paintings. Photography and sculpture are the only types of visual arts that do not need an artist in order to produce them. Although acting and music may be considered part of the visual arts, they are actually two different concepts.
While most people think of the arts: when talking about their art form, there are actually four main articles of this type of art. Art includes artworks, visual arts, literature, and music. Visual art is any art that has aesthetic value as a whole and not necessarily for its own sake. Visual arts include paintings, sculptures, photographic works, motion pictures, and computer graphics.
Literature includes creative writing: (novels, short stories, etc. ), creative non-fiction books (such as scientific reports, biographies, etc. ), and artistic works (sculptures, paintings, music). All other kinds of arts include dance, architecture, motion picture/computer graphics, film, television, and music.
